Friends

I had the pleasure of spending most of my weekend with two of my very best friends....we had a blast. Friday night was spent on the wii with a few beers, and Saturday evening we were bowling and playing games at Main Event. Even though it was Valentines Day and Chad and I were supposed to be spending quality time together we had much more fun seeing our "family". We had a child free weekend and used up every minute of it. Movies, shopping, friends, and quality time. I couldn't ask for more....well maybe a three day weekend like everyone else :)
Just wanted to take a moment to reflect on how lucky I am. Great husband, fantastic friends, and Grandparents who take the kiddo's so that I can have a adult weekend!

He did it....

Just a quick note to let everyone know that your prayers paid off. Chad starts a new job at JP Morgan Chase on Monday!! We are all very thankful for this opportunity and I know Chad can't wait to get back to work. Everything about this new job sounds great, hours, salary, chances for bonus and overtime....We are truly blessed. In celebration he took Kadence out for a Daddy day. The went to Toys R Us and bought a butterfly treehouse (catapillers not included). They then went to lunch at Kady's favorite place....Wendy's. Next was a secret mission .... something was painted somewhere.... that's all the info I have (three year olds are not so good with secrets). Finally they ended their outing with a trip to get some icecream. Once they got home Kadence was a sleepy mess. She barly took and nap and was a holy terror that evening!!! None of that matters since she got to have a day with Daddy. I am thankful that he has had this time with his girls.....but it is time to get back to work!!!

Best Teacher Ever.....

I am so lucky to have Sidney in my life. She teaches Kadence while I go and teach other peoples children all day (that sounds strange?). Kadence loves going to school with her friends and Ms. Sidney. She has loved it since the first day! Sidney takes wonderful care of her, puts up with her when she gets a little sassy, and has taught her so many wonderful things. Not to mention she helped potty train her!! Sidney is not only a teacher she is a great friend, and part of our family. She is a wonderful mother to SIX beautiful children. I look up to her as a Mom. She is amaizing. To top it off she is caring and sympathetic to her students and parents needs. Sidney has been so kind to us and is even trying to help us through our tough time right now. I have learned from her that no matter how tough times are in your own house, there is time to help others in need also. Sidney I can't imagine my life without you and I look forward to having you as part of our family in the years to come. You may lose Kadence next year (she is starting big girl school) but you are gaining my other bundle of joy. I wouldn't leave her with anyone else.

You Rock! (just incase no one has told you today)

WE LOVE YOU TONS!!!!

Stressing.....

Most of you have heard that Chad lost his job with Beal Bank on Dec 30th. Well since then he has been working his tail off to find a new position....nothing has come up yet. He had a promising interview last week that we are anxiously awaiting news on. In the mean time we are starting to get stressed out and are getting on each others nerves. The poor guy is home every day with my Mom, who is watching Krista. The only reason she is still watching Krista (since he is home) is in hopes that he will get an interview and have to run out of the house at a moments notice. I think the only reason I am writing this is to vent. I am so pissed off at the whole situation. Chad is such a hard worker and feels so out of place without a job. Not to mention the girls are getting used to him being at home all the time and it is going to be harder and harder to break them of that when he does finally go back to work. Don't get me wrong, it is great having him home when I walk in the door at night......just not for the bill collectors! If you have any spare prayers send them our way, we would really appreciate it. We aren't looking for a multi-million dollar job, just one with a little stability that will keep the bills paid.

As for the girls, they have no idea. They just think Daddy likes being at home and loves to play with them. I hope they always feel that way!
